Dodge Charger: Multicolor Headlights (2015-2023) Install Guide

PART I REMOVING HEADLIGHTS

STEP 1: Disconnect the Negative Battery Terminal

Always begin by disconnecting the negative battery terminal when working on your vehicle to ensure safety.

STEP 2: Remove the Front Bumper

Radiator Support Cover
Remove the push-in pins from the radiator support cover.

Upper Bumper Bolts
Unscrew the two 10mm bolts on either side of the upper bumper corner.

Wheel Fender Bolts
Extract the four push-in pins from each wheel fender.

Subsequently, spread open the fender liner widely and use the wrench to disengage the two 10mm bolts securing the front bumper.

Spread the fender liner open and use a wrench to remove the two 10mm bolts securing the front bumper. Repeat these steps for the other side.

Bottom Bumper Bolts
Remove the eight 7mm bolts underneath the front bumper.

Detaching the Bumper
Gently pull outward from each side of the bumper to disengage it from the mounting clips.

Disconnect Connectors
Disconnect the fog light connectors and side marker connectors.
Fully remove the bumper and set it aside for later reinstallation.

STEP 3: Remove the Headlight Bolts

Remove the 4 x 8mm bolts securing each headlight assembly.
Repeat for the other side.

STEP 4: Remove the Headlights

Gently pull the headlight assembly outward to disengage it.
Unplug the headlight’s sockets to complete the removal process.

Repeat the same steps for the other headlight.

PART II INSTALLING HEADLIGHTS

Connect the Headlights

Attach the headlight socket, DRL connector, and turn signal connector to the new headlight assembly. Important: Do NOT apply dielectric grease!

Use our low beam adapter for models with OEM halogen headlights.

Install the Headlights

Secure the headlight assembly by tightening the 4 x 8mm bolts firmly to ensure a proper fit.
Repeat the process for the other headlight.

Finish the installation by reversing the removal process, carefully following all previous steps in the opposite order.

Adjust Headlight Alignment

After testing, adjust the alignment of your multicolor headlights. Park your vehicle 25 feet away from a wall and ensure the headlights are leveled evenly.
