RETURNS

Customers may return an item within 30 days from order date with an approved RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization Number). A photo of the items you wish to return must be provided prior to the return being approved. All returns are subject to a 15% restock fee and items are only eligible for return if they are in like-new condition and uninstalled. They must not show any signs of use or handling, such as scratches, dirt, fingerprints etc. Any items that do not meet these conditions will not be eligible for return.

EXCHANGES

Customers may exchange an item within 60 days from order date with an approved RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization Number). A photo of the items you wish to exchange must be provided prior to the return being approved. Items are only eligible for exchange f they are in like-new condition and uninstalled. If items show any light signs of use or handling, such as light scuffs, fingerprints, ect then a 15% restock fee will apply to that exchange order. If items show any heavy signs of use or damage upon return: like scratches, dirt, harsh smells, etc., the product may not be eligible for exchange. If product is approved for exchange, then restock fees of 35% will apply in these cases. To avoid restock fees for exchanges please ensure product is adequately packed and shipped back to RGB Halo Kits and product is in Brand New condition.

WARRANTY POLICY

All orders come with a 1-year warranty from the date of order. Should you experience any issues with your product, one of our technicians will diagnose and troubleshoot the problem with you and then replace the faulty product / component if needed. Please note that our warranty covers component issues (i.e. LED product, wiring harness / controller defects etc.). Our warranty does not cover installation errors, wear and tear, neglect, or other similar issues, i.e. underglow getting scrapped off. This warranty policy excludes prebuilt multicolor headlights / taillights, and other custom-built products. For warranty policy on these products please see FAQ below.

How do I start a return?

Step 1: Find out if your order is eligible for a return: Your item is eligible for return/refund in most cases if it meets all of the following conditions:

  • Your order is within 30 days of purchase date.
  • Your product was never installed or used and is still in new condition.
  • Your product is not prebuilt headlights, Garage Hex Lights, or other custom made to order items.

Step 2: All returns for a refund must include an RMA confirmation number. Approval is typically granted the same day or the next day. When contacting our customer support, please provide the reason for the return and send a picture showing the condition of the product you wish to return (you may leave the product in anti-static bags). If the box it arrived in has not been opened, please capture images from all angles to demonstrate that the tape has not been cut. If your order meets the above conditions, please request an RMA number here: Rgbhalokits.com/submit.

Step 3: Once your RMA number is issued, we will provide a link to a prepaid return label that you can use to print off and return the package. The label can be utilized at any USPS or UPS Store facility. Once your return is received, we will inspect the items.

Restocking Fees

  • Tier 1: Perfect Condition (Product is unopened and like new) = 15% restocking fee.
  • Tier 2: Re-Conditionable (Packaging is opened or damaged) = 20% restocking fee.
  • Tier 3: Inability to restock (Product shows signs of use or damage) = not eligible for refund.

Return label cost: An additional $10 will be deducted from the return for the return label cost, unless otherwise specified. (There are some exceptions to this). back to top v2.png

EXCHANGES

How do I exchange a product?

Upon receiving your exchange, if the cost of the returned items is less than the items you are exchanging for, you will be sent an invoice for the price difference. Conversely, if the cost of the returned items is more than the items you are exchanging for, we will issue the difference via refund or store credit and proceed to create an order for the items you are exchanging for.

Return label cost: An additional $10 will be deducted for the return label sent for exchanges in cases where the wrong product was ordered, etc. However, if the exchange is due to our mistake (wrong order or items sent), then there will be no cost for the return label.

Exchanges (wrong item ordered or changed mind)

If a customer orders the wrong item by mistake or simply changes their mind, they will be responsible for the cost of return shipping as well as the shipping cost for the new order, which is $20 for small-medium items and up to $50 for larger items (full headlights,etc.). If the returned item is not in brand new condition, additional restocking fees of up to 35% may apply. These charges may be added to the cost of the new order.

If an order needs to be exchanged due to a mistake we made, such as sending the wrong item or incorrect halo size, then RGB Halo Kits will cover the shipping cost for those exchanges. back to top v2.png

WARRANTIES

How do I start a warranty claim

Step 1: Troubleshoot / Identify the issue

Please Include the following in your warranty claim submission:

  1. Your first and last name
  2. Your order number
  3. A detailed explanation of your issue
  4. Clear pictures or video of the problem & how the controller is wired to the vehicle (required)
  5. Description of what troubleshooting steps you took to solve the topic (this will help speed up the warranty process)

Step 3: We will start a warranty claim and review your claim. During this time, we may ask for more information or details. Please be ready to provide this. Once approved, we will send a warranty Order Invoice to your email. back to top v2.png

Multicolor Prebuilt Headlights/Taillights Warranty Policy

Prebuilt Multicolor Headlights feature a 1-year limited warranty. RGB Halo Kits builds and thoroughly tests all prebuilt lights before they ship out. A photo or video of the completed build can be provided if requested before the item ships out. Prebuilt headlights are built to order and can take anywhere from 1-7 weeks to ship from date of order.

If you have any issue with your pre-built headlights, we will help troubleshot and diagnose the issue with you.

If the issue is an external component issue like LED drivers, controllers, extension wire, wiring harness etc. RGB Halo Kits will send out a warranty order for the component. These components can be easily swapped out to fix most issues without removing the headlights from the vehicle.

If the issue is an internal component issue like moisture in the headlight, defective led strip or halo, etc. The customer will need to return the faulty headlights to RGB Halo Kits for repair. We will provide a free prepaid return label and will do a free repair on the original set of lights on which the work was completed. For internal headlight issues, RGB Halo Kits does not ship replacement headlights. We repair the original set of lights on which the work was completed.

Due to this we highly recommend keeping your OEM headlights should you ever need to service your lights in future. We do understand that some customers may not have an additional set of headlights; therefore, all warranty work is expedited and sent back quickly to limit inconvenience.

Bulbs included in aftermarket or prebuilt headlights are often included for convenience for the customer and are not covered under warranty or included in the cost of the product. back to top v2.png

REFUNDS

How long do refunds take to be issued?

Returns are processed bi-weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays. Refunds will be issued within 1-3 days of receiving returned items. Refunds may take up to 7 days to show back in your account. back to top v2.png

Do you have any restock fees on returns?

ORDERS & SHIPPING

Cancelling an Order

We often box and process orders as soon as they come in. Cancelling an order can only be done if a shipping label has not been created for your order and if you reach out to us immediately (within 30 min or less) after placing the order.

Please make sure to type in the correct address and review before finalizing your order.

We are not liable for any return shipping costs if the request for cancellation has been received after the order has been shipped out. back to top v2.png

Shipping Times

Our shipping policy ensures swift delivery of your orders. For free shipping options, orders placed before 11am MST will be shipped out the same business day.

For express shipping, orders placed before 2pm MST will be shipped out the same business day.

Orders received after these cutoff times will be shipped out the next business day. Please note that Saturdays and Sundays are not considered business days. Therefore, orders placed after 2pm on Friday will be shipped out on Monday.

This policy does not apply to third-party products or products of other brands that we retail as well as custom made to order products like prebuilt multicolor headlights, multicolor taillights, or any other product that we specific to be made to order. Prebuilt Multicolor Headlights & Taillights Shipping

Pre-built headlights are custom assembled for each customer after the order is placed. Orders are completed chronologically in the order they are received. Turnaround times for pre-built headlights are usually about 2 weeks or less; however, they can vary depending on the number of headlight orders in our system at the time of your order.During busy seasons headlights can take up to 1-2 months. Once your order is placed, the customer may reach out to as at any time if in need of ETA on when your headlight / Taillight order will ship. back to top v2.png

Out of stock / Backorder Items

In some cases, our website will update the product page to show that a product is out of stock before ordering. However, this is not always the case. If your order includes an item that is out of stock but not shown on the product page, we will notify you via email and provide an estimated shipping date. back to top v2.png

Changing an Order / Address

We often box and process orders as soon as they come in. Changing an address or order can only be done if a shipping label has not been created for your order and if you reach out to us immediately after placing the order. Disclaimers

  • Refunds are only applicable on returned items.
  • Refunds are not applicable to used or faulty items or missing items from shipment (faulty or missing items will be replaced at no charge within 30 days).
  • Refunds or Returns are not applicable due to non-receipt of a product if tracking confirms delivery or for custom-made-to-order items like prebuilt headlights.
  • Warranties, Returns, and Exchanges are only applicable to orders purchased directly from rgbhalokits.com and not from third-party vendors and sites.
  • RGB Halo Kits recommends confirming your order contents and testing products as soon as you receive them and prior to installation. We reserve the right to correct any packaging errors or defective merchandise.
  • Refunds are not applicable to products that are returned used, damaged, or defective, or modified.
  • Refunds can only be applied to the card used to make the purchase.
  • Installation cost: all warranties, returns, or exchanges cover the cost of the product itself. RGB Halo Kits cannot cover any installation-related costs for any reason.
  • Orders in which warranty or replacement parts have been sent out or warranty claims have been made in the past are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • International returns/exchanges: the customer is responsible for return label costs. RGB Halo kits will only issue a return label for USA orders.
